Thanks to everyone who's contacted us recently to request information on how to volunteer as a rider with SERV Norfolk….In order to organise our next round of induction training we have temporarily put recruitment of additional rider members on hold. We're likely to start recruiting again very soon. In the meantime for more information about we're looking for and why we've done this please take a look here.
We are however very keen to recruit additional Controllers who receive the calls from the Hospitals and dispatch the riders - want to help? Please use the Contact page to contact our Membership Secretary.

We are the Norfolk Section of SERV (Service by Emergency Rider Volunteers). Newly established in Norfolk, we're a voluntary organisation that serves the NHS in our community. SERV itself celebrated its 30th Anniversary in 2011 and we have set up a local section that went live in September last year to service Norfolk hospitals and the community as a whole.
SERV Norfolk
SERV Norfolk is a charity run by local volunteers that transports blood, plasma, platelets, samples, vaccines, factor VIII, donor breast milk & any other urgently required medical items to hospitals - at night, daytime weekends* and bank holidays. This service is provided completely free of charge, allowing the NHS to divert funds where they are needed most.
SERV is a Registered Charity (#284455) that covers the South East of England and is run by dedicated volunteers who receive no financial compensation for their time or costs.

The About page details more about who we are, what we do and how you can help us.
The two videos shown here however say it all.
It won't take more than 5 minutes to watch both, so if you do nothing else, watch these…

SERV Provides a service that has saved many lives, yet receives no government funding. Our costs are met by donations from members of the public and through corporate sponsorship.
If you'd like to volunteer to ride for us or help in any other way then please download both the Volunteer Enquiry and the Membership Form.
Join us on Saturday June 16th for our Round Norfolk Motorcycle Treasure Hunt & BBQ - all welcome!
